Mindful

If it is true (which it is) that Jesus is with us always, shouldn't we be mindful of what He is doing in every conversation, every interaction, and every meeting? I want to join God in where He is already working. If I can add color to any man, woman, or child's life, then I know I have worked with God Himself.

In the same sense, if it is true that Jesus is with us always (which it is), shouldn't we be aware of how He is leading us in our thoughts, speech, emotion, action, and interactions? He is constantly working on us. Are we denying His lead and following our own will?

It may seem trivial, but I think God even wants to have a hold and complete control on every action we do! When we are in a room, it should be different because praise God, the Holy Spirit abides with us. So it DOES matter that we follow God's lead in EVERY way. Eating at Ada's Kitchen verses the DC may mean that you come into contact with someone God planned on using you to speak to. I cannot believe that God made us all so uniquely and so differently to not weave His people's lives together. We are a body of many members and we each have an important, functional role; therefore, I have to believe that as a body, we are knit together and cross paths with one another very intentionally and in a planned way.

I want to be aware of how God is leading me, even if its as small as going in the back door of Muffitt verses the front door. Who knows? It could make or break the life of the one who might be waiting at the door for the hope that you can bring them.
