Isaiah 43

Hey, will you please open up Isaiah 43 and read verses one through seven? Then go on to read what’s below, okay? : )

What ever has a gripping hold on you has no power to take you. Christ has claimed us and called us His! We are the safest people on earth because we are in Christ’s hand and Christ is in God’s hand. Do you know HOW MUCH it would take to break that hold? None can do it! What is the sin or bad habit that you feel just consumes you? No matter how minuscule or how overpowering it feels, God has already claimed victory over it through the blood of His son! With hearts of surrender and minds too stubborn to give into the sin again, give Christ a resounding YES in response to His great love for you. And since we have to live in a world full of fires to pass through and raging waters that threaten to overflow us, God’s word promises that He will be with us, continuing to claim us as His own. So walk in confidence that Christ has power over your sin and despite the constant struggle to give into its call, Christ gently calls your name and speaks value, honor, and love into your life. Let Him win. He will eventually.
