Anybody can be faithful for a few hours, a day, or maybe even a couple of days. Anybody can choose godliness or sacrificial love love when it's easy. Girls and boys can do those things. But only men and women can be continually faithful and love sacrificially even when it's hard.
I want to be among the latter group.
Even when it's hard, I want to choose You. Even when it hurts, I want to choose You. Even when it doesn't make sense, I want to choose You. Even when I can't see what's going to happen next, I want to choose You. And even when I'm tired, I want to love. Even when I'm annoyed, I want to be patient. Even when I'm anxious, I want to be still. Even when I am in need, I want to serve.
I want to be consistent.
